Early Years
At Selling Church of England Primary, our Early Years provision offers a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can thrive during the most important stage of their development. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, providing a rich curriculum that supports learning through play, exploration, and creativity.
Nestled in a beautiful, nature-rich setting, our school is surrounded by woodlands and green open spaces, offering children daily opportunities to connect with the natural world. Outdoor learning is a key part of our approach, helping to inspire curiosity, build resilience, and support well-being from an early age. we focus on key life skills and building independence and confidence.
We develop both fine and gross motor skills through a range of activities and resources. Early reading and writing is developed through the use of Little Wandle Phonics scheme.
